A hands-on sailing experience, with fabulous food, moored out on the lake.

10.30am–1.30pm OR 3pm-6pm Ploughman’s Sailing Experience Aged 9 +

After a tour of Bowness Bay we hoist the sails and enjoy the peace and quiet as we explore Windermere. Sit back, relax and enjoy the amazing scenery or get completely involved with trimming the sails and helming the ocean going yacht.

After 90 minutes, we drop the sails, find a quiet spot in one of Windermere’s many bays, relax and enjoy a very extensive, locally sourced ploughman’s meal.

A selection of beers, gin & tonic, speciality wines, prosecco and champagne can be purchased from our on board bar.

We finish with tea or coffee and my Mum’s homemade cake, as we motor back to the marina.
