John was so chilled, answering every one of my silly questions! John is the font of all knowledge, he was so entertaining with great historical and local knowledge! We were given such a good understanding of the lake and all it’s charms. Lunch was amazing, with great variety of fresh, quality ingredients and so thoughtfully put together, including a home made cheese and onion gluten free pie and John’s mum’s delicious apple chutney and gluten free fruit cake! ‘Proper honest’ food & the wine was nice too. Thank you so much John (and mum) for catering for my dietary needs. We had the most unforgettable day, an anniversary to remember and we would return to this experience in a flash ‍☠️
